Tom Soule is an associate at Querrey & Harrow’s Chicago office, concentrating on insurance coverage issues, municipal defense, and general litigation defense.  After graduating from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2003, he worked on consumer protection class action litigation, before moving to an insurance defense role several years ago.  Over his career, he has prosecuted, or defended against, complex claims at all phases of the litigation process, including mediation, arbitration and appeals.  His emphasis on thorough research, effective questioning in written and oral discovery, and plain-English briefing has allowed decision makers, over the years, to develop litigation strategies and successfully execute on them.

An honors graduate from Stanford University, Tom was named to the Super Lawyers “Rising Stars” list in 2016, 2017 and 2018.  He is active with the USO of Illinois, serving as a volunteer at its O’Hare Airport servicemembers’ lounge.  He is also a supporter of Cabrini Green Legal Aid and the Southern Poverty Law Center.
