Querrey & Harrow Selects Its Next Managing Shareholder

Chicago, Illinois --- Querrey & Harrow is pleased to announce that Michael B. Stillman will be the new Managing Shareholder and Chairman of the Board, assuming office on July 31, 2008, when Dennis A. Marks, who has held this position for the past 10 years, retires from the firm.  Today, Mr. Marks announced to the firm, “Q&H will be in great hands and looks to a prosperous future under his leadership.”

Mr. Stillman joined Querrey & Harrow in 1997.  He has practiced in the areas of general litigation defense, health care liability litigation, school law, and municipal work including eminent domain. 

Mr. Stillman obtained his JD in 1994 from DePaul University and his BA from Bradley University in 1991.  He received the Bradley University Outstanding Young Graduate Award in 2005.

Mr. Stillman’s community involvement includes serving as Trustee for Worth Township, as President of the Board of Community High School District 218, and as the attorney for the Village of Oak Lawn's Planning and Development Commission.  He is also a member of the Little Company of Mary Hospital and Health Care Centers Foundation Board of Directors.  Mr. Stillman is also a member of the Steering Committee of Brother Rice High School and a Board Member of the Chicago Area Bradley University Alumni Chapter.  He is a member of Illinois State Bar Association, South Suburban Bar Association, Will County Bar Association, National School Board Association, and the Illinois Association of School Boards.
