Querrey & Harrow Attorneys and Staff participate in Women Everywhere Service Day Project

June 8, 2007

Our past efforts have included painting and planting at women’s shelters.  This year our adopted facility was a halfway house caring for women trying to enter or re-enter the paid workforce after suffering from drug or alcohol abuse.  They needed certain tangible goods and not our labors, so we collected and delivered a generous variety of items including day planners, writing tablets, pens and paper as well as sheets, towels, and toiletries.

Pictured are Project coordinator, Anne M. Belanger, Associate attorneys Emily Carlson and Alexis Widlak, and Staff members Nancy Zielinski, Betty Duenas, and Sheree Rogers.  One of Querrey’s law clerks, Andrew Hernandez, was also glad to lend a helpful hand.
