What To Do When Construction Projects Go Bad

Shareholder Bruce Schoumacher, who will act as moderator, was a key organizer of this seminar which combines the experience of 13 attorneys, each of whom have more than 20 years of construction industry experience.  The seminar is presented by Lorman Education Services and co-sponsored by the Society of Illinois Construction Attorney. 

During the seminar, the attorneys will explore various problems that can befall a construction project and the steps that can be taken by contractors, owners and sureties to minimize them.  They will address reducing the possiblity of problems occurring, and also how to best handle problems after they arise.  They will identify circumstances that frequently lead to construction projects going bad, and what can be done to minimize damages and delays.  Finally, they will discuss alternative dispute resolutions that might help to resolve any resulting claims.
