On Thursday, May 22, 2008, the Chicago Bar Association presented the first annual Donald Hubert Scholars Mock Trial Competition, designed to introduce Chicago area African-American male high school students to successful African-American lawyers and to the legal profession as a possible career. Scott Rochelle, an associate in Querrey & Harrow's Chicago office, generously devoted his time to coordinate the volunteer effort for the event, enlisting the assistance of local practicing attorneys, including several attorneys from Querrey & Harrow, to act as judges or coaches for the mock trial competition.
