Each April since 2006, Querrey & Harrow attorneys and staff alike have participated in Misericordia Candy Days, covering the streets of the South Loop from 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. to raise money for Misericordia, a local home providing services for 600+ children and adults with developmental disabilities.
In years past, Spring rains, gusting winds, and freezing temperatures were outshined by friendly smiles and many thanks. Inside the walls of Q&H, our attorneys and staff challenged each other to friendly competitions - "who can collect more." The winner the first year was lucky enough to collect a check for $5,000! While we've yet to top it, we haven't stopped trying.
Each year, we have exceeded our prior year's collection - an accomplishment of which we are very proud. More importantly, we have found it a satisfying project, knowing we are benefiting the hard work of the people who have kept Misericordia going since 1921.
Most importantly, we congratulate Misericordia on meeting its fundraising goals and continuing to serve the children and adults who need them most.
