In late-February, Chicago shareholder Terrence Guolee and his wife will host a weekend-long annual forum and social gathering at the Holiday Inn North Shore in Skokie, Illinois for parents and their children from throughout the Midwest who have adopted from India and other Asian countries.
Once again, Chicago Shareholder Dennis Marks served as Chairman of Chicago’s Archdiocese’s Parish Leadership Day. The February 2, 2008 event at Guerin Prep H.S. hosted a gathering of 1200 active Cook and Lake County parishioners, who choose from 100 different workshops and presentations. Volunteers from Q&H included Sandy Wasinski, Chris Johnston, Cynthia Garcia, Tom Comstock, Betty Duenas and Octavio Duenas. Jennifer Medenwald conducted one of the workshops.
