Alexis A. Widlak, Associate

Alexis Widlak concentrates her practice in general civil litigation.  Prior to joining Querrey & Harrow, she served as Judicial Clerk to Honorable Sebastian T. Patti in the Circuit Court of Cook County.  Ms. Widlak has previous experience as a prosecutor with the City of Chicago Department of Law where she gained invaluable courtroom exposure while trying cases in the Municipal Prosecutions Division. 

Ms. Widlak was the 2004 recipient of the Lucy Sprague Public Service Award and she is an active volunteer for numerous organizations, including Young Adult Ministry of the Archdiocese of Chicago, the Chicago Bar Association and the Polish Women’s Alliance of America.  Ms. Widlak has been involved with various service projects and has enjoyed tutoring and mentoring elementary school children, especially with the Working in the Schools Program in the Chicago Public Schools. 

Ms. Widlak served as the Conference Coordinator for the 2007 FOCUS Conference, an energetic, one-day conference where hundreds of young adults gathered to reflect on work, relationships, personal growth and spirituality.  Ms. Widlak was honored to be invited to deliver the response to the keynote address given by Illinois Supreme Court Justice Anne M. Burke.
