
Fuad R. Sulayman is a Shareholder and concentrates his practice in the areas of health care law and real estate litigation. He has extensive litigation experience in both state and federal courts representing health care institutions, physicians groups, individual physicians, title insurance companies, institutional lenders, developers, and material suppliers.
During the past several years, Mr. Sulayman has handled more than 100 medical malpractice claims involving numerous medical disciplines such as neonatology, family practice, pulmonology, general surgery, thoracic surgery, nephrology, cardiology, gynecology, obstetrics, pediatrics, and radiology. He has successfully tried numerous cases to verdict including both bench and jury trials and has participated in numerous binding and non binding alternative dispute resolution hearings. Mr. Sulayman also counsels his health care clients regarding general business matters including business entity formation, contract review and negotiation, operating agreements, distribution agreements, litigation advice, and routine business issues.
Mr. Sulayman's real estate litigation practice includes the representation of clients involving matters such as priority of interest disputes, fraud, adverse possession, legal description discrepancies, actions to quiet title, judicial and non judicial mortgage foreclosures, equitable estoppel, encroachments, enforcement of indemnification agreements, declaratory actions including actions for specific performance and injunctive relief, adversary proceedings, coverage disputes, equitable subrogation, conventional subrogation, property related tax disputes, and easement disputes. He also has a broad range of experience handling commercial litigation matters including construction lien foreclosure matters and breach of contract.
