
Galen Bradley concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial and insurance litigation. Mr. Bradley is frequently retained as a civil mediator and arbitrator as he has been certified as a mediator in the State of Indiana. As a certified mediator since 2002, Mr. Bradley has mediated all types of civil disputes ranging from simple disputes involving negligence and breach of contract theories between two individuals to large exposure complex commercial litigation cases involving numerous parties and claims.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Bradley worked as a claims representative for a national insurance carrier. That experience provided him a logical course toward a litigation practice following law school. He has since defended insureds, both individuals and businesses of all sizes, in bodily injury and property damage claims. He has also represented a myriad of national retailers in business and commercial litigation matters.
Mr. Bradley routinely defends insurance carriers in bad faith/extra contractual litigation. In addition, Mr. Bradley is frequently hired by insurance carriers' special investigative units to investigate fraud and defend carriers and their insureds against fraudulent claims.
Mr. Bradley has served as a temporary judge throughout Lake County, Indiana over the course of his career.
Mr. Bradley is admitted to practice in both Indiana and Illinois and has significant trial experience in both states.
