David J. Flynn, Shareholder

David Flynn is the Co-Chair of Querrey & Harrow’s Construction Practice Group and currently handles construction litigation in various settings including personal injury, construction defects, contract disputes, mechanics liens, product liability, land planning and use, and premises liability cases.  Mr. Flynn is uniquely qualified to handle construction matters because he can draw from his previous experience as an ironworker.  He also has vast experience in personal injury defense.  He has tried in excess of 35 cases to verdict before a jury, including three wrongful death cases.  In addition, he has tried several criminal cases involving felonies and misdemeanors.  He has recently been recognized by his peers and named as a Leading Lawyer in the area of construction law and has also earned an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell.

During law school at DePaul, Mr. Flynn was an academic scholarship recipient and member of the DePaul Law Review and Moot Court Society.  In addition, he was twice the recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award for excellence in academics, and he was a member of the Order of the Coif.
