
Patrick Wall has been an Associate with Querrey & Harrow since 2006. He concentrates his practice in the defense of auto and premises liability. He has defended national corporations, homeowners and landowners against claims ranging in severity and complexity from soft tissue injuries to catastrophic injuries. Additionally, he is active in the defense of transportation liability. He also practices in the defense of medical malpractice and Nursing Home Care Act litigation.
He has represented individuals and corporations in matters through all phases of litigation including trying several matters to verdict including bench and jury trials.
Mr. Wall is a determined, energetic and creative advocate on behalf of his clients. Mr. Wall has achieved success in the courtroom, as well as positive resolutions of matters through alternative dispute resolution. He has tried fourteen cases to jury verdict, including three which resulted in no non-economic damages being awarded. He has also participated in more than 20 mandatory arbitrations.
Additionally, Mr. Wall has assisted with large-scale commercial litigation and research projects in the construction, commercial, real estate, employment, intellectual property and environmental practice areas. Mr. Wall also has experience with foreclosures, enforcement of judgments and collections. Moreover, he is experienced in the areas of automobile liability, premises liability, fraud and general commercial litigation. Mr. Wall has extensive experience in preparation of motions and in motion practice itself. Mr. Wall’s motion experience included preparing and arguing successful summary judgment motions, as well as other motions to advance his client’s interests.
Mr. Wall has practiced in several different divisions of Cook County, DuPage and Lake County, and is licensed in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
Mr. Wall brings a unique background to the firm. Before joining Querrey & Harrow, Mr. Wall worked for two Fortune 500 companies, gaining significant management experience. Mr. Wall has also served as an extern at The White House and the United States House of Representatives.
Obtained Not Guilty for the estate of a deceased motorist who had been sued for $550,000 by a plaintiff who alleged permanent and debilitating injuries.
Obtained Summary Judgment in favor of a defendant in a suit where plaintiff alleged negligent operation of a motor vehicle causing emotional damages.
Obtained Summary Judgment in excess of $250,000 on behalf of utility company regarding property damage due to faulty digging.
