Megan K. Monaghan is a Shareholder in Querrey & Harrow's Chicago office and concentrates her practice in commercial litigation, products liability and defense of civil rights claims. Ms. Monaghan has worked with Querrey & Harrow since 2008. As a law clerk, Ms. Monaghan gained experience in legal research and all phases of the litigation process.
Ms. Monaghan received her law degree from The John Marshall Law School. During law school, she made the Dean’s List and earned the CALI award in the following subjects: Agency and Unincorporated Business Entities, Civil Procedure I, Police Civil Liabilities, Professional Responsibility and Property. Ms. Monaghan also served as a lead articles editor for The John Marshall Law Review. Additionally, she was a finalist in the 2011 Dean Fred. F. Herzog Moot Court Competition. In 2013, Ms. Monaghan participated in the John J. Gibbons National Criminal Procedure Moot Court Competition. She also served as the 2010-2011 Fundraising Chair for the International Law Society, an organization that seeks to promote a greater interest in international law.
Prior to obtaining her law degree, Ms. Monaghan attended Bradley University, where she graduated with a degree in political science.
