Our attorneys represent “community banks” that serve a specific neighborhood or demographic, as well as large regional and national bank corporations.

For community banks, we have acted as general counsel, providing legal services in mortgage and commercial loan transactions, construction loans, participation agreements, mortgage foreclosures, work outs on problem loans, and representing the bank as creditor in bankruptcy proceedings.  For large banks, we provide loan documentation, mortgage, foreclosure and litigation legal services.

We also represent banks in connection with their internal legal affairs, often assisting in drafting their loan and trust policies, responding to inquiries from bank officers and employees regarding everyday legal matters, and advising bank trust departments concerning questions connected with trust and estate administration.
